The supporters of Atlético de Blumenau booed when Fabiofs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Atlético de Blumenau from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes Atlético de Blumenau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Batista who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Fabiofs's corner Cristian Batista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Murillo Peixoto quite easily take care of the ball. Savas Iosifakis came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Murillo Peixoto could save by the left post. Savas Iosifakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Murillo Peixoto made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Fabiofs were awarded a corner. Cristian Batista went to the cornerflag to take it. After 35th play minutes Savas Iosifakis shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Murillo Peixoto and just under the crossbar into goal. 39 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Turban came free, but Alexander Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savas Iosifakis in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Ronaldinho Molski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Hegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Turban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Tomás Turban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amedeo Mameli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Alexander Hegg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Joãozinho Trints ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Edu Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edu Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edu Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Murillo Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joãozinho Trints, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Daniel Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Murillo Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético de Blumenau's Edu Tavares got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Edu Tavares off the ground. Edu Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Fabiofs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
