Fiori Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Neves in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hyrol MzFC defense, Alfredão Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiori Matos. The Hyrol MzFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiori Matos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hyrol MzFC's Mateus Paulista got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Betão Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fiori Matos was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Gabriel Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlinhos Furlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Trembolona's Carlinhos Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Marinho in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Trembolona booed when Hyrol MzFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Trembolona's Paulinho Catarinense got a free kick in the 29th minute. Carlinhos Furlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guto Paes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Gabriel Marinho's late challenge caught a Trembolona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Gabriel Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateus Paulista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gabriel Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlinhos Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Paulista in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Trembolona got a corner. Hyrol MzFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulinho Catarinense ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 58th match minute, Hyrol MzFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Paes to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Paulista took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Furlan. Carlinhos Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gabriel Marinho hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Marcos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Marcos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trembolona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fiori Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hyrol MzFC's Fiori Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Hyrol MzFC from getting a goal against them. Carlinhos Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Paulista in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Mateus Paulista made a precise shot to the right of Carlinhos Furlan. Trembolona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Trembolona's Tarcisio de Queirós was substituted for Tiago de Queiroz. In the 84th match minute, Hyrol MzFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Paes to maneuver through the defense. Trembolona made a substitution. Aílton Guimarães replaced Betão Neves. In the 86th minute, Guto Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Fiori Matos managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Trembolona's Aílton Guimarães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Delfim Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Fiori Matos made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Paulinho Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Josué de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Guimarães succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3.
