Ademar Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Chuteira de Prata's Carlinhos Furlan threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vinícius Correia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Nicolau Castanheira put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Chuteira de Prata:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trembolona:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinícius Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlinhos Furlan. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. Angelo Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Cabral in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Trembolona were awarded a corner. Paulinho Catarinense went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Paulinho Catarinense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Soares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Betão Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Soares was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Vinícius Correia took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Furlan. Carlinhos Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 43 minutes into the match, Trembolona's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Correia came free, but Carlinhos Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vinícius Correia made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Iuri Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Chuteira de Prata fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Chuteira de Prata's Vinícius Correia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Chuteira de Prata's zone, Ademar Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Soares came out of the goal and Ademar Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Trembolona defense, Vinícius Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Furlan. The Trembolona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Furlan should have stopped the shot. Aílton Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Angelo Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Guimarães in the 95th minute. Angelo Soares made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aílton Guimarães sent off a good shot on target.
