Ervalzinho's Ricart Villafane couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bangu RJ. With a little luck, Bangu RJ's Pedro Luiz Mineiro got control of the ball when Alfredo Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pedro Luiz Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Daniele Gentili who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ervalzinho's Eron Abellaneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, 方乐风 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eron Abellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Aparecidos short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Pedro Luiz Mineiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arnaldo Laguna took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eron Abellaneda. Eron Abellaneda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniele Gentili made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eron Abellaneda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bangu RJ booed when Ervalzinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniele Gentili came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bangu RJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Gentili couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 方乐风 in the 70th minute of play forced Ervalzinho's goalkeeper Eron Abellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Deunoro's late challenge caught a Ervalzinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
