Hugo Wiarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. E.C Vera Cruz's Diego Rivas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carlos Augusto Saldanha, made in the 65th minute of the game. Evaristo Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Saldanha hit a great ball. Evaristo Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Wiarda in the 75th minute of play. Ksawery Bielatowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Coutinho having to make a save. Carlos Augusto Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CA Portugália's Orlando Mota got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Pedrinho Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto Saldanha threw the ball into play from the sideline.
