Magno Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Rafa Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elói Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Torrijos in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub defense, Patrick Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Taffarel. The I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Taffarel should have stopped the shot. In the 90thth minute of the game Yani Vitkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Elói Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Corrupção's Belchior Mamalis to fire away a dangerous shot which Elói Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 95th match minute, Corrupção was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Mamalis to maneuver through the defense. Corrupção's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
