Dadá Costa came out of the goal and Gerson Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Cachinaoa EC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Fontes came free, but Dadá Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Matadores FC's Dário Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dadá Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Cachinaoa EC defense, Nilton Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Costa. The Cachinaoa EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Costa should have stopped the shot. When Erivaldo Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Matadores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erivaldo Moreno couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Pedro Augusto Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qu Bing Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cachinaoa EC booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Augusto Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qu Bing Cheng having to interfere. Dadá Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Dadá Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Paranaense in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Nilton Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matadores FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After some careless play in the Cachinaoa EC defense, Erivaldo Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Costa. The Cachinaoa EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Costa should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilton Fontes was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Nilton Fontes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dadá Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dário Gerber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dadá Costa came out and tried to block the shot, but Dário Gerber slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 53rd minute. If Dário Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Válbson Sarmento lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Dadá Costa. When Matadores FC's Dário Gerber in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachinaoa EC's goalie prevented a goal. Dadá Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilton Fontes in the 64th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Dário Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Lopes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Matadores FC's Dito Paranaense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dadá Costa. That made the score 0-11 after 70 minutes of play. In the 73rd minute Dário Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Gerber. 84 minutes into the game, Matadores FC's Dito Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
