The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Elder Galvão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute Chico Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Raphael Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ПФК ЦСКА fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eduardo Bertassi took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elano Santos. Elano Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Elano Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Chico Godoi made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Albino's Elder Galvão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Moisés Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ПФК ЦСКА the free kick. After 29 played minutes Albino got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Alves. After 31 minutes, Chico Godoi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Albino's Elder Galvão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Godoi in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder Galvão saved Albino from getting behind. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Albino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evaristo Muc was slow to take the kick. During this time ПФК ЦСКА's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ПФК ЦСКА's Evaristo Muc to fire away a dangerous shot which Elder Galvão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When ПФК ЦСКА's Chico Godoi in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albino's goalie prevented a goal. Elano Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marcus de Salles made the kick off in the second half. ПФК ЦСКА's Raphael Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Godoi in the 54th minute of play forced Albino's goalkeeper Elder Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Fernandez in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, ПФК ЦСКА's Raphael Fernandez made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elder Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus de Salles in the 62nd minute of play forced ПФК ЦСКА's goalkeeper Elano Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Godoi scored 5-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elder Galvão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Doriva Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, ПФК ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus de Salles came free, but Elano Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Chico Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Elder Galvão. Albino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Chico Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elder Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Doriva Britto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ПФК ЦСКА fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. ПФК ЦСКА walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
