To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Virgílio Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 89 played minutes Trocary got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Leme. Morales Moreira struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Frank Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nas Horas Vagas F.C. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nas Horas Vagas F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
