Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Natanael Luz took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Alan Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SHIRO F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Trocary's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Brasil came free, but Frank Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, SHIRO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Luz came free, but Fernando da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Sarmento in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Trocary defense, Hernani Sarmento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Sarmento. The Trocary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Sarmento should have stopped the shot. Trocary's Frank Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Sarmento in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trocary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hernani Sarmento was slow to take the kick. During this time SHIRO F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 27th minute, Hernani Sarmento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Frank Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, SHIRO F.C.'s Dagoberto Brasil made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in SHIRO F.C.'s zone, Luizão da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando da Mata came out of the goal and Luizão da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernani Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Frank Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trocary's Luiz Fernando Matorin got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Trocary defense, Dagoberto Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Sarmento. The Trocary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Sarmento should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Alan Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SHIRO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trocary the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernani Sarmento to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, SHIRO F.C.'s Hernani Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 53 minutes into the match, Alan Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Sarmento. Trocary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Frank Sarmento was a little too slow when João Adolfo Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-11. Hermínio Lira's late challenge caught a SHIRO F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Lira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Trocary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Lira to maneuver through the defense. When Alan Ortiz got free in front of the goal in the 65th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Frank Sarmento was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alan Ortiz made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 69thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Frank Sarmento would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Alan Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Frank Sarmento made a huge save. A collision led to SHIRO F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Secco hit a great ball. When SHIRO F.C.'s Hernani Sarmento in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trocary's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Hernani Sarmento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trocary's Frank Sarmento did a great save. After 81 played minutes Trocary got a freekick which was hit by Luizão da Silveira. Alan Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Frank Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Hernani Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SHIRO F.C. booed when Trocary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Alan Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SHIRO F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Trocary's Frank Sarmento got control of the ball when Alan Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Varela during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SHIRO F.C. booed when Trocary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Natanael Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trocary's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Alan Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over SHIRO F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trocary throughout the match.
