Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jano Simões to make the kick off. With a little luck, Alvinegro de Tupã's Augusto Alcântara got control of the ball when Constantino Lertxun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Constantino Lertxun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Claudinho Terra was substituted for Constantino Lertxun. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Alcântara came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 76th minute. Augusto Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Claudinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. In the 95th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-19. When the match was over New Joinville - FSCMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alvinegro de Tupã throughout the match.
