Santo F.C's Freddy Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Rocendo in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes in the game 尤杰俊 did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Clodoveo Eufrasio. In the 16th match minute, Santo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Su to maneuver through the defense. Santo F.C were furious when Guillermo Frisco was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a little luck, Malvinas Argentinas's Guaberto Tebaldo got control of the ball when Pastor Errando tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rosendo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Fadıl Cevan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Pastor Errando got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Malvinas Argentinas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Modesto Pancho hit a great ball. Clodoveo Eufrasio struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Guaberto Tebaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo F.C. In the 42nd minute, Pastor Errando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Tebaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Guaberto Tebaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Arne Bengtsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Pastor Errando made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Tebaldo. Malvinas Argentinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Gaudencio Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Santo F.C got a freekick which was hit by 尤杰俊. 63 minutes into the match, Arne Bengtsson notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Santo F.C's Freddy Markel. Freddy Markel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddy Markel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Matro in the 69th minute. Malvinas Argentinas's Guaberto Tebaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Errando in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Pastor Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santo F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Errando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
