With his leg Benigno Valente managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Hinojo AFC's Saverio Chale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ubaldo Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hinojo AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Leonides Etxatxu hit a great ball. Ubaldo Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Fuente, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Thomas Fuente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Guib was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The referee ignored Palavecino FC's protests and gave Anacleto Senon a yellow card for diving instead. Hinojo AFC made a substitution. Adrian Herensuge replaced Saverio Chale. The supporters of Hinojo AFC booed when Palavecino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Palavecino FC's Ciro Castel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Guib made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Palavecino FC's Isaias Isaio got a free kick in the 35th minute. The long shot by Evelio Fonso in the 37th minute really tested Benigno Valente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Castel made a kick off. Ubaldo Guib was a little too slow when Ciro Castel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-4. Adrian Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Valente having to interfere. Ubaldo Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Fuente, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ubaldo Guib made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ciro Castel sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Hinojo AFC's Evelio Fonso got a free kick in the 95th minute. Palavecino FC played a much better game than Hinojo AFC and deserved their victory. The Hinojo AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
