MARANGONI FC's Paulino Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Ospetsu in the 15th minute of play. After 36 played minutes MARANGONI FC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Gilabert. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Chavito Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MARANGONI FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Ospetsu in the 45th minute of play forced MARANGONI FC's goalkeeper Paulino Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the MARANGONI FC defense, Filiberto Atarratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Oroitz. The MARANGONI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Oroitz should have stopped the shot. The MARANGONI FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chavito Football Club were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Ospetsu to make the kick off. If Isaac Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Oroitz made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Fermin Lluterio sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Fermin Lluterio made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Oroitz. MARANGONI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. If Isaac Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, MARANGONI FC's Paulino Oroitz got control of the ball when Isaac Ospetsu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
