The nice shot from Jairo Terciero in the 3rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Leonel Chorache had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 21st minute, america's Timoteo Barros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Timoteo Barros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of america protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Timoteo Barros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in america fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Peru Quintano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bruno Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Terciero made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by america's Carolo Errando. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peru Quintano in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Illan saved Rivadavia AFC from getting behind. Jimeno Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Leonel Chorache made a huge save. The supporters of america booed when Rivadavia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Elvio Bembe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Illan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonel Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. america's Leonel Chorache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save america from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute Maximiliano Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rivadavia AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. america were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Maximiliano Garin made the kick off in the second half. Leonel Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Garin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Peru Quintano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Illan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Leonel Chorache had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Igor Raitin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 69th minute Pastor Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Gregorio Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leonel Chorache was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Peru Quintano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82ndth minute of the game Pastor Flor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but america's Leonel Chorache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Rivadavia AFC's Jimeno Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
