Pablo Hegoi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Amador Gorbea took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Leoiar. Antonio Leoiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Gauchos de Epecuén getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alfredo Urki hit a great ball. When Alfredo Urki fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gauchos de Epecuén's protests and gave Alfredo Urki a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Leoiar having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Gorbea to make the kick off. Fantasmas's André Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Fantasmas from getting a goal against them. Artemio Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Guido Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fantasmas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Seber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Leoiar came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Fantasmas's Amador Gorbea. But to his dismay, Amador Gorbea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fantasmas's André Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Demesio in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Fantasmas booed when Gauchos de Epecuén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Gorbea in the 69th minute of play forced Gauchos de Epecuén's goalkeeper Antonio Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Amador Gorbea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Demesio in the 76th minute of play forced Fantasmas's goalkeeper André Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Gauchos de Epecuén's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Gorbea came free, but Antonio Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Pablo Hegoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Leoiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes Fantasmas got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Ceandro. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fantasmas's goalkeeper André Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Arsenio Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
