Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Liberto came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ambrosio Adrio could save by the left post. If Epifanio Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Kauldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Gomez in the 11th minute of play. Sixto Kauldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Giampietro in the 15th minute of the match. Alessandro Giampietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Moteagudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Guipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. Moteagudo's Sixto Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Felipo in the 20th minute of play. Donato Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Kauldi having to interfere. Epifanio Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Kauldi having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Alessandro Giampietro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D.MAIPU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Giampietro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Modesto Rosario made the kick off in the second half. Cesar Sein kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Vinicio Mero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moteagudo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D.MAIPU the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Moteagudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Mero to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Sixto Kauldi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Epifanio Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, C.D.MAIPU's Epifanio Gomez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Kauldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Moteagudo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alessandro Giampietro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Moteagudo booed when C.D.MAIPU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Mero in the 76th minute of play forced C.D.MAIPU's goalkeeper Ambrosio Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Epifanio Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Adrio having to interfere. Epifanio Gomez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Modesto Rosario came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Moteagudo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Rosario couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Moteagudo were victorious despite being under pressure from C.D.MAIPU for much of the match.
