Romulo Francis ran back to his position shaking his head. When Braulio Aimar fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luján Plate's protests and gave Braulio Aimar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Braulio Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luján Plate's Florencio Silvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Luján Plate from getting a goal against them. Luján Plate's Florencio Silvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Tanio in the 15th minute of play. Luciano Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Vigil in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florencio Silvino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute, Rosendo Tanio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florencio Silvino. The goal made the score 1-0. Florencio Silvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Edur in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Amadeo Edur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florencio Silvino. Amadeo Edur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 32 played minutes Luján Plate got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Azibar. In the 33rd match minute, Luján Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Astigar to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Vigil might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Silvino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Hugo Gerazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Luján Plate's zone, Luciano Vigil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Silvino came out of the goal and Luciano Vigil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Luján Plate getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Braulio Aimar hit a great ball. Florencio Silvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Francis got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-1 in the right cross in the 67th match minute before Hugo Gerazan had time to react. 76 minutes into the match, Luján Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Edur came free, but Florencio Silvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Luciano Vigil made a precise shot to the right of Florencio Silvino. Luján Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 81 played minutes Lorenzo Brais rounded Rodeo AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. When the referee ended the match the Rodeo AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
