When Gustavo Inautzi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Alijilán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Inautzi couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Veto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albano Sal was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Alijilán's goalkeeper Maximiliano Clodio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Ebardo. Rosendo Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Clodio having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Horacio Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rosendo Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Maximiliano Clodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Rodriguez in the 78th minute of the match. If Rosendo Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
