España's Paulino Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Federigo in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Domingo Belo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. España's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Freddy Federigo scored to the left of an out of position Paulino Pacorro, making the score, 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murillo Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Aguilas FC's Edgardo Estefan got control of the ball when Murillo Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aguilas FC's Edgardo Estefan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Aguilas FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Aguilas FC defense, Murillo Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Estefan. The Aguilas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Estefan should have stopped the shot. Rene Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paulino Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aguilas FC's Freddy Federigo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Aguilas FC's protests and gave Ciriaco Montae a yellow card for diving instead. Chants of España echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Aguilas FC had held the ball for most of the match.
