Wilfredo Aztore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alonzo Restu might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdel Haleem Ashraf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Restu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 minutes of play, Rambo FC's Gaudencio Cai made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdel Haleem Ashraf was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Aldosivi's zone, Gaudencio Cai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Haleem Ashraf came out of the goal and Gaudencio Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Alonzo Restu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdel Haleem Ashraf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Luis Calvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rambo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Aldosivi the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Rambo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Calvino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Restu in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Aldosivi's goalkeeper Abdel Haleem Ashraf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atletico Aldosivi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilfredo Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Dayam, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Abdel Haleem Ashraf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Restu in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonzo Restu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Rambo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Restu to maneuver through the defense. Abdel Haleem Ashraf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Bonifacio Blanco hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Restu in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdel Haleem Ashraf saved Club Atletico Aldosivi from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Joel Tajo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Aldosivi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. A collision led to Rambo FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rene Rudolfo hit a great ball. Alonzo Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Abdel Haleem Ashraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Fausto Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Aldosivi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Leocadio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilfredo Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Tajo in the 91st minute of the match. When Filomeno Berenguer fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rambo FC's protests and gave Filomeno Berenguer a yellow card for diving instead. Fausto Leocadio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilfredo Aztore. Rambo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
