After a rather tough play, Mutquín's Eliseo Abajas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mutquín's Adrian Asplund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Otsoko in the 23rd minute of play. When Justino Micael fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Collipilli's protests and gave Justino Micael a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Collipilli getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Justino Micael hit a great ball. Adrian Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Micael in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mutquín defense, Narciso Mendebal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Asplund. The Mutquín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Asplund should have stopped the shot. In the 41st match minute, Collipilli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Jordy to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Aztore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Asplund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Mendebal went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute Kong Rong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mutquín's Adrian Asplund got control of the ball when Silvestre Otsoko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mutquín's Adrian Asplund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Mutquín from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Collipilli's Justino Micael ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrian Asplund. Adrian Asplund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Adrian Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kong Rong in the 87th minute of play. The Collipilli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Collipilli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
