Sixto Mendebal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Medardo in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jarilla's zone, Christian Medardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Mendebal came out of the goal and Christian Medardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Sixto Mendebal managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Mynabo de Glew's Christian Medardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Jarilla's Sixto Mendebal got control of the ball when Christian Medardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Mendebal having to interfere. Christian Medardo in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sixto Mendebal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute, Federico Gudesteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Salkvist got free with Sixto Mendebal in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Medardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Sixto Mendebal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Filiberto Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mynabo de Glew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aquiles Chico fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarilla's protests and gave Aquiles Chico a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Jarilla's Sixto Mendebal got control of the ball when Christian Medardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jarilla's Aquiles Chico got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Christian Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mynabo de Glew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Gudesteo was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jarilla's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Medardo came free, but Sixto Mendebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Jarilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Chico to maneuver through the defense. Verner Salkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Mendebal having to interfere. A collision led to Jarilla getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Aquiles Chico hit a great ball. Mynabo de Glew's Christian Medardo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Filiberto Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Mendebal. Jarilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mynabo de Glew's Christian Medardo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 67 minutes, Christian Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mynabo de Glew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Christian Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Mendebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Medardo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sixto Mendebal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mynabo de Glew. During the 71st minute of the match Aquiles Chico completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aquiles Chico a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 72 played minutes Jarilla got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Chico. 73 minutes into the match, Christian Medardo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jarilla's Sixto Mendebal. Sixto Mendebal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Verner Salkvist came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mynabo de Glew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verner Salkvist couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Christian Medardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Mendebal was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Christian Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jarilla's zone, Filiberto Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Mendebal came out of the goal and Filiberto Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Mendebal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Medardo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Christian Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
