Placido Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Bento in the 10th minute of the match. If Klemensas Gegeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th play minute Camilo Bento came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Placido Maule. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goalkeeper Placido Maule had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Micael. Yuquerí AFC's Placido Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Bento in the 19th minute of play. Klemensas Gegeckas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Maule having to interfere. AS Roma's Behzat Dadaloğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Illan in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Yuquerí AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Enzo Eztebe hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Desiderio Mino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Behzat Dadaloğlu. Placido Maule dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Klemensas Gegeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behzat Dadaloğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Illan in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Bento was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Gerardo Emenon in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AS Roma's Esteban Cambiasso. Chatziioannou Veletzas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemensas Gegeckas in the 54th minute of play. Placido Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klemensas Gegeckas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Ramirez took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Maule. Placido Maule dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Mario Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klemensas Gegeckas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Maule having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yuquerí AFC's Enzo Eztebe got a free kick in the 78th minute. Placido Maule stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Bento's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Natalio Bernabel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Placido Maule skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Bento in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Placido Maule prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Yuquerí AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Feliberto Barros hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Feliberto Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AS Roma's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
