The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Llorian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Omar Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tírala Larga Que Corro's Omar Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Vigil in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Al Wasl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. Andres Cordarrol struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Venancio Caton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tírala Larga Que Corro. Manuel Ponciano's late challenge caught a Tírala Larga Que Corro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Ponciano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Al Wasl getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Manuel Ponciano hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Arnoldo Hondo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Venancio Caton. In the 28th minute of the match Anselmo Camerino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Caton skillfully saved the ball. After 29 played minutes Tírala Larga Que Corro got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Abadia. 37 minutes into the match, Tírala Larga Que Corro's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Vigil came free, but Omar Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tírala Larga Que Corro's Andres Cordarrol got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Tírala Larga Que Corro's Arnoldo Hondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Venancio Caton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Tírala Larga Que Corro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Vigil to make the kick off. Arnoldo Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tírala Larga Que Corro's Arnoldo Hondo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Al Wasl's Venancio Caton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Al Wasl from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Mitxaut having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tírala Larga Que Corro's Filiberto Chaime got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Hondo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Caton saved Al Wasl from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, Al Wasl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Iban to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Al Wasl booed when Tírala Larga Que Corro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Gomesano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Mitxaut having to interfere. Filiberto Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Omar Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Llorian in the 92nd minute of the match. One of Al Wasl:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tírala Larga Que Corro:s goal. The referee gave Tírala Larga Que Corro a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Feliberto Xabel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Al Wasl's Venancio Caton. 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tírala Larga Que Corro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
