Ruperto Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Santana hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Idiazábal FC's Rolando Chuse couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arsenal F.C.. Guaberto Bartolis short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Domingo Magdaleno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Txomin in the 26th minute of play forced Idiazábal FC's goalkeeper Domingo Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Sebastian Peio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal F.C. and the Idiazábal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arsenal F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sebastian Peio hit a great ball. Amadeo Eufrasio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Guaberto Bartoli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Domingo Magdaleno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 36 minutes, Gervasio Txomin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Txomin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Domingo Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Guaberto Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Bartoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Magdaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Txomin to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Gervasio Txomin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Txomin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Bartoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Magdaleno having to interfere. When Nemesio Pasqual was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Nemesio Pasqual kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Guaberto Bartoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Magdaleno was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A hard shot 66 in the game by Sergio Astudillo from a close distance when the talented Honorato Oliveiro managed to make a qualified save. Arsenal F.C.'s players were relieved. Sergio Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Honorato Oliveiro made a huge save. Gervasio Txomin charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Txomin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal F.C.'s Gervasio Txomin got a free kick in the 74th minute. Guaberto Bartoli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Magdaleno having to make a save. Domingo Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Alvaro Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Bartoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Magdaleno was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Guaberto Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Idiazábal FC's Domingo Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bartoli in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Alvaro Calvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Calvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenal F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
