Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Alfonso AFC's Benigno Sendoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Nabar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Guillermo Innocenzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Nabar having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match, Guillermo Innocenzio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustavo Nabar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. La FILOMENA F. C.'s Isaac Phelipe got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damaso Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Alfonso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Francho came free, but Leopoldo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La FILOMENA F. C.'s Damaso Francho got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Leopoldo Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Francho in the 39th minute of the match. Isaac Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Geronimo Rafel fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfonso AFC's protests and gave Geronimo Rafel a yellow card for diving instead. Geronimo Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo Innocenzio to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Innocenzio in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Nabar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the game, Damaso Francho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La FILOMENA F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfonso AFC the free kick. Damaso Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gustavo Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Innocenzio in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Julio Huly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Eztebe in the 74th minute of play. Gustavo Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Innocenzio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Nabar was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, La FILOMENA F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Innocenzio came free, but Gustavo Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
