Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Ruperto Sergi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 5 minutes into the game, Mauricio Lucero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miramar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN DIEGO the free kick. 7 minutes into the game, Anastasio Domeka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ruperto Sergi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Domeka in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Sergi saved Miramar from getting behind. SAN DIEGO's Jacinto Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, SAN DIEGO's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Indar came free, but Filomeno Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Burutzagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Lucero got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Anastasio Domeka got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Leopoldo Burutzagi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SAN DIEGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Burutzagi couldn't finish the play. Anastasio Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Sergi having to interfere. Miramar's Ruperto Sergi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Miramar from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Silvano Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN DIEGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Gilen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Sergi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Domeka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Sergi was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

53 minutes into the match, Miramar's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Domeka came free, but Ruperto Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Miramar getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Denis Indar hit a great ball. If Silvano Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SAN DIEGO booed when Miramar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Indar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Ruperto Sergi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Domeka's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Miramar defense, Anastasio Domeka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Sergi. The Miramar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Sergi should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Domeka during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denis Indar charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Indar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Denis Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Leopoldo Burutzagi took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Sergi. Ruperto Sergi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. SAN DIEGO's Anastasio Domeka got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruperto Sergi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Domeka's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Domeka in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Sergi saved Miramar from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Miramar's zone, Anastasio Domeka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Sergi came out of the goal and Anastasio Domeka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Branco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Sergi having to make a save. SAN DIEGO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
