The supporters of Boca Jrs booed when Colon de santa fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elivélton Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Chuse succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. Dante Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Paraibano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Blanco in the 31st minute of play forced Colon de santa fe's goalkeeper Elivélton Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Clemente Chuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boca Jrs's Ezequiel Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colon de santa fe's Elivélton Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Blanco in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Boca Jrs's Clemente Chuse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elivélton Paraibano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ezequiel Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Paraibano having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludvig Delin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Clemente Chuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Paraibano came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Jrs's Ezequiel Blanco. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Ezequiel Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Chuse. Colon de santa fe's Desiderio Licerio got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Boca Jrs's Lisandro Urtungo got a free kick in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Clemente Chuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elivélton Paraibano. Colon de santa fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Chuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Elivélton Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Boca Jrs fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Boca Jrs's Ezequiel Blanco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 97 minutes into the match, Colon de santa fe's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Chuse came free, but Elivélton Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
