Henk Ellerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Bernal having to interfere. Larligau's Cosme Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Ubarna in the 9th minute of play. Rogelio Tebaldo's late challenge caught a Nouvelle Ére Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Tebaldo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Larligau getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rogelio Tebaldo hit a great ball. If Javier Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Renato Acha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Ubarna got free with Cosme Bernal in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Moises Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Kelemen in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Leo Kelemen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Larligau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Larligau's goalkeeper Cosme Bernal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Ubarna. Cosme Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Javier Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Ére Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Kelemen came free, but Eustaquio Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Javier Ubarna in the 43rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Cosme Bernal kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Ubarna was the one to do the kick off. If Feliberto Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Javier Ubarna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Bernal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Nouvelle Ére Fc's Javier Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Ellerman in the 85th minute of play. Cosme Bernal came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Nouvelle Ére Fc's Javier Ubarna. But to his dismay, Javier Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nouvelle Ére Fc had played much better football throughout.
