Spectators: 7105 (Terracing: 5330, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 141) independiente's Wilfredo Mendez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, independiente's Johannes Lõugas got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Uriel Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Bastian's late challenge caught a Uzcudum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Bastian helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to independiente getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Enzo Bastian hit a great ball. Johannes Lõugas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Teodoro Ipar made a huge save. Benigno Rosario struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ricardo Abeitia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzcudum. Ezequiel Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uzcudum's Teodoro Ipar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Uzcudum from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Abeitia came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uzcudum's Benigno Rosario. But to his dismay, Benigno Rosario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teodoro Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Abeitia having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Bartolo Orkatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Ipar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johannes Lõugas went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wilfredo Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gogo Calixto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, independiente's Jairo Marques broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 46 minutes into the game, Johannes Lõugas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Ipar. Johannes Lõugas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Theobald made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Uzcudum getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Florencio Bernabel hit a great ball. Ricardo Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Hunfredo in the 57th minute of play. Enzo Bastian was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 62 minutes of play, independiente's Simon Solustiano made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Ipar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benigno Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ricardo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Haritz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Uzcudum's Uriel Hunfredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Abeitia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 73rd minute, Bartolo Haritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Abeitia having to interfere. The supporters of Uzcudum booed when independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. independiente's Ricardo Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Eguen in the 80th minute of play. Teodoro Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Forss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Uzcudum booed when independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Lõugas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Benigno Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ezequiel Theobald came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Uzcudum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Theobald couldn't finish the play. Uzcudum's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
