Isidro Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Amor in the 14th minute of play. Alonzo Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alonzo Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Isidro Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Devoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Arce came free, but Ladislao Eguntsenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Marciano Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devoto FC's Ladislao Eguntsenti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Inocencio Abad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marciano Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ladislao Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocencio Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Eguntsenti having to interfere. Inocencio Abad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Eguntsenti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Devoto FC's Ladislao Eguntsenti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Abad in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Amor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anibal Amor scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Cambranes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inocencio Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ladislao Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Devoto FC's zone, Marciano Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Marciano Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Amor in the 81st minute of play forced Suipacha's goalkeeper Isidro Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Loi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Dario Bertran took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Cambranes. Isidro Cambranes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
