Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gogo Gomez got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Esperanza defense, Gogo Gomez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Orkatz. The Esperanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Orkatz should have stopped the shot. Gogo Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Orkatz having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Angelo Espiridion made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Beltxe. Recalde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Adrian Beltxe came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Esperanza 's Angelo Espiridion. But to his dismay, Angelo Espiridion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Eguntsenti during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Recalde getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Florencio Eguntsenti hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Recalde's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juan Ignazio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Esperanza 's Pedro Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Gomez in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Ariel Paul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recalde and the Esperanza players grew even worse after the yellow card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Recalde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esperanza 's goalkeeper Pedro Orkatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Esperanza getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lucas Manny hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Recalde's Aldo Mincho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Marco Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recalde's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Millrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Orkatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Ignazio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Angelo Espiridion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperanza and the Recalde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Esperanza got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Fix. Esperanza 's Pedro Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Gomez in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Esperanza 's goalkeeper Pedro Orkatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Gomez. After 69 played minutes Recalde got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Cresenciano. 71 minutes into the match, Recalde's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ignazio came free, but Adrian Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Recalde's Ariel Paul got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Angelo Espiridion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esperanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With a little luck, Esperanza 's Pedro Orkatz got control of the ball when Marco Millrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marco Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Ignazio scored 4-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Beltxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esperanza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Recalde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
