Flavio Viviano's late challenge caught a Esperanza 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Viviano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, LAS PRIMAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Viviano to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, LAS PRIMAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Espiridion came free, but Erubiel Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Filomeno Matthew was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LAS PRIMAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza the free kick. In the 13th minute, Filomeno Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Espiridion in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LAS PRIMAS FC's Atilano Regis got a free kick in the 20th minute. Juan Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Erubiel Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Txilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignazio in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Angelo Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Txilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Orkatz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Ignazio in the 39th minute of play forced LAS PRIMAS FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Txilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Esperanza 's Aquilino Fanuco got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Cipriano Sidoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Orkatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Juan Ignazio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LAS PRIMAS FC's Erubiel Txilar. Erubiel Txilar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Esperanza were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

LAS PRIMAS FC's Erubiel Txilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ignazio in the 55th minute of play. Atilano Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Orkatz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Fix during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LAS PRIMAS FC booed when Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind LAS PRIMAS FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Txilar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Ignazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Txilar having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 77th minute when Angelo Espiridion elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Lucas Manny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esperanza 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LAS PRIMAS FC the free kick. 84 minutes into the match, LAS PRIMAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ignazio came free, but Erubiel Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esperanza 's Lucas Manny shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Erubiel Txilar but with some difficulty. Pedro Orkatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Viviano went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Angelo Espiridion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Txilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Aquilino Fanuco was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 97 played minutes Esperanza got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Fanuco. In the 99th minute of the match Denis Gorbea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Orkatz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The LAS PRIMAS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esperanza 's performance. The match ended with a win for Esperanza .
