Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Llisca's Octavio Geleberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Narciso Beti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benicio Sustrai kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Octavio Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Suero having to interfere. Teo Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cerro Porteño's Evelio Suero got control of the ball when Narciso Beti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Geleberto struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Evelio Suero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llisca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Geleberto in the 19th minute of play forced Cerro Porteño's goalkeeper Evelio Suero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Llisca's Narciso Beti made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evelio Suero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Narciso Beti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Evelio Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cerro Porteño's Evelio Suero got control of the ball when Narciso Beti tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Beti got free with Evelio Suero in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Pitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Mon having to interfere. Teo Panfilo got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Santo Mon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Primitivo Pitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Evelio Suero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 43 minutes of play, Cerro Porteño's Primitivo Pitin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Mon was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Panfilo was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Llisca got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Garin. In the 52nd minute, Llisca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teo Panfilo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cerro Porteño's Evelio Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Beti in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Cerro Porteño booed when Llisca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Geleberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Armando Marko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Evelio Suero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvestre Garin made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Narciso Beti. When Llisca's Narciso Beti in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerro Porteño's goalie prevented a goal. If Octavio Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Narciso Beti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llisca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After 75 played minutes Cerro Porteño got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Pitin. Octavio Geleberto took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Suero. Evelio Suero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 79 minutes into the match, Llisca's Narciso Beti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evelio Suero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Narciso Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cerro Porteño's Evelio Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Beti in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cerro Porteño's zone, Octavio Geleberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Suero came out of the goal and Octavio Geleberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Geleberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Beti in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Geleberto in the 93rd minute of play forced Cerro Porteño's goalkeeper Evelio Suero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Suero having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Llisca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cerro Porteño had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
