The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Carmelo Kauldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Carmelo Kauldi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Man Blue's Arnoldo Jayvier. Arnoldo Jayvier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chuscha's Jairo Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Lastur in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Conrado Marino put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnoldo Jayvier. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justo Marz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game, Urbano Ekaitz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Marino during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conrado Marino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Honorio Lastur struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Carmelo Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuscha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Kauldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Marino in the 80th minute of play. Chuscha were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Man Blue's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oscar Duarte took the corner. The corner led Chuscha's Vinícius de Carvalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoldo Jayvier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Jeronimo Castulo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Man Blue's protests and gave Jeronimo Castulo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Conrado Marino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Gutierrez in the 95th minute of the match. The Chuscha players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
