In the 64th match minute, SOFLOV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Diaz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Ciro Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOFLOV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Quintana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SOFLOV's Paulo Diaz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Isaias Ongile, made in the 69th minute of the game. Leonardo Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Quintana in the 70th minute of the match. The throw-in from Isaias Ongile in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SOFLOV's Paulo Diaz. Ciro Quintana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Guerrero having to make a save. Ciro Quintana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Bernardino Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Guerrero having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palomar United's zone, Ciro Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Guerrero came out of the goal and Ciro Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
