An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Vitin in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Resignados's goalkeeper Narciso Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Alfredo Vitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Joanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 66th match minute, Club Atletico Resignados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Isauro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lamberto in the 76th minute of play forced Estudiantes de Bs As's goalkeeper Christian Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Christian Umbruso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Estudiantes de Bs As's Christian Umbruso got control of the ball when Hermengildo Isauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Resignados's Christian Umbruso threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Lamberto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Christian Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Mirande in the 86th minute of play. If Sebastian Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leonides Mirande came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Club Atletico Resignados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Mirande couldn't finish the play. Igor Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Club Atletico Resignados could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Estudiantes de Bs As throughout the match.
