Christian Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Aureo in the 13th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pueblo AFC! Pueblo AFC's Ariel Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Vinström in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wictor Vinström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ariel Vedillo. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Alfredo Vitin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Vedillo. Pueblo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Vitin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wictor Vinström was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Filiberto Gergori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Vitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute.
