Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5338, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elpidio Elodio started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Bayern Munich FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Elodio came free, but Benito Lander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Paulo Brodel in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Confesor saved Velez Sarsfield FC from getting behind. If Zé Paulo Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Brodel in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Elpidio Elodio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Lander. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Bayern Munich FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dario Alfonso hit a great ball. Mateo Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Brodel in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Elodio during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Velez Sarsfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Elodio to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rdth minute of the game Zé Paulo Brodel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez Sarsfield FC's Mateo Confesor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 played minutes Bayern Munich FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Gregory. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Paulo Brodel made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Brodel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Confesor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Lander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Bayern Munich FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dario Alfonso hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Brodel in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Confesor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bayern Munich FC's Benito Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Teodor in the 69th minute of play. With his leg Mateo Confesor managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Bayern Munich FC's Zé Paulo Brodel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Simon Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Benito Lander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Confesor came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Bayern Munich FC's Zé Paulo Brodel. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elpidio Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Brodel came free, but Mateo Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayern Munich FC's Augusto Gregory suffered a concussion after 92 minutes and had to leave the field. Simon Quico kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ruben Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Mateo Confesor made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
