Leonel Cayo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Tadzio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Palmitas 's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Vides came free, but Pedro Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Ovidio Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Zeledon Veremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Herminio Cheche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Tadzio. Palmitas 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Cheche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Pedro Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Ovidio Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Romero. Leonel Cayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Elvio Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Cayo in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes B° Parque Norte got a freekick which was hit by Moises Bembe. The long shot by Zeledon Veremundo in the 35th minute really tested Gaston Lluciano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ovidio Dominix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Gaston Lluciano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Palmitas 's Pedro Tadzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Cayo in the 40th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osmar Vides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Osmar Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leonel Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Cheche took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Tadzio. Pedro Tadzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Leonel Cayo in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Tadzio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Dominix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Lluciano was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, B° Parque Norte's Leonel Cayo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. A beautiful save bye B° Parque Norte's goalie prevented a goal. The B° Parque Norte players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
