In the 47th minute Constantino Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Arnoldo Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Fonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gerardo Poz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Roman Valentine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jumial FC's Benigno Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Paio in the 81st minute of play. When Roman Valentine came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Concepción AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Valentine couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes, Orlando Inge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jumial FC and the Concepción AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Orlando Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benjamin Natanael fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concepción AFC's protests and gave Benjamin Natanael a yellow card for diving instead. Benjamin Natanael hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the game, Jumial FC's Orlando Inge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Poz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Jumial FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Concepción AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
