Zé Carlos Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Amador Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gartzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Honorato Baleren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Gartzen. BAYCORPS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Baleren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 27 played minutes BAYCORPS got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Bermudo. 29 minutes into the match, BAYCORPS's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Reyes came free, but Armando Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Gartzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Teofilio in the 36th minute of the match. When Artemio Xabat fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAYCORPS's protests and gave Artemio Xabat a yellow card for diving instead. Artemio Xabat hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, BAYCORPS's Ubaldo Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Carlos Ferraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The wind increased when Honorato Baleren made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Federico Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, NEWCASTLE CORDOBES F.C.'s Amador Reyes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 59th match minute, BAYCORPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Bermudo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Honorato Baleren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Gartzen was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, BAYCORPS's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Reyes came free, but Armando Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Abeita in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of NEWCASTLE CORDOBES F.C. booed when BAYCORPS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Bermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Natalio Ramone notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of BAYCORPS's Armando Gartzen. Armando Gartzen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. NEWCASTLE CORDOBES F.C.'s Zé Carlos Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Abeita in the 73rd minute of play. Natalio Ramone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Raymundo's late challenge caught a NEWCASTLE CORDOBES F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Raymundo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, BAYCORPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Raymundo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Reyes got free with Armando Gartzen in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
