After a rather tough play, El Rayo F.C.'s Adrian Txartiko got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Rayo F.C.'s goalkeeper Urbano Karlo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mens Sana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Savier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The El Rayo F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Rayo F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
