In the 9th minute, Jesus Eneto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Argoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Gaspar Errolan could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Claudio Argoitz however easily saved by the left post. Porvenir Talleres's Claudio Argoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Porvenir Talleres from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Lanús AC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Bernaldo came free, but Tiberiu Baltian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Eneto in the 18th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Lanús AC's Gaspar Errolan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Argoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute of the match, Francis Manyim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudio Argoitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 28th minute Giosta Tervo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Porvenir Talleres's goalkeeper Claudio Argoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Errolan. Tiberiu Baltian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giosta Tervo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes into the game, Marcial Deunoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanús AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porvenir Talleres the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Marcial Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Porvenir Talleres's Alejandro Tebaldo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ladislao Leizarraga's late challenge caught a Lanús AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. Ladislao Leizarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Francis Manyim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Hibai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Giosta Tervo took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Tiberiu Baltian to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Hibai in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Argoitz saved Porvenir Talleres from getting behind. Ladislao Marz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lanús AC's Cesar Niva got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Orland took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiberiu Baltian. Tiberiu Baltian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Claudio Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Errolan in the 71st minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Porvenir Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Hibai came free, but Claudio Argoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Porvenir Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Placido Hunfredo. After some careless play in the Porvenir Talleres defense, Santos Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Argoitz. The Porvenir Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Argoitz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lanús AC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gaspar Errolan hit a great ball. Claudio Argoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesus Eneto went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Porvenir Talleres's Alejandro Tebaldo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Sebastian Bernaldo's late challenge caught a Lanús AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
