Porvenir Talleres's Adolfo Orland got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Porvenir Talleres's goalkeeper Claudio Argoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Viator. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Bernaldo in the 21st minute of play forced camioneros's goalkeeper Victoriano Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Rius's late challenge caught a Porvenir Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Urki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Orland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes, camioneros's Hermengildo Paio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Argoitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in camioneros reached it. The camioneros fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Porvenir Talleres were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
