With his leg Santiago Odon managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Chas FC's Hugo Maraman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 12 minutes into the game, Hugo Maraman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Santiago Odon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Israel Xabat kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Panpili in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Odon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Chas FC's Santiago Odon threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lisandro Pagomari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Santiago Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Benito Panpili reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santiago Odon. The goal made the score 2-0. Benito Panpilis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Santiago Odon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Al Hornillo FC defense, Hugo Maraman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Odon. The Al Hornillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Odon should have stopped the shot. Santiago Odon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Panpili's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Santiago Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Maraman to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Maraman in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Odon saved Al Hornillo FC from getting behind. Santiago Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Santiago Odon came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Chas FC's Hugo Maraman. But to his dismay, Hugo Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Santiago Odon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Maraman's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Chas FC's Hugo Maraman in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Al Hornillo FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Chas FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Chas FC's Hugo Maraman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santiago Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Maraman went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Al Hornillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Panpili came free, but Santiago Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hugo Maraman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Odon was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Hugo Maraman spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Al Hornillo FC's goal. Santiago Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Panpili in the 83rd minute of the match. When Leonides Iyan fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al Hornillo FC's protests and gave Leonides Iyan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chas FC booed when Al Hornillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Hugo Maraman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Odon having to interfere. Santiago Odon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Panpili in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Chas FC were the better team. Chas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
