Rigoberto Oskarbi scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Iban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Iban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Olentzaro in the 10th minute of the match. Roberto Inautzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Reyes in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Denis Chinto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Inautzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Rigoberto Oskarbi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gilberto Iban to make any attempt to save it. Rigoberto Oskarbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gilberto Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Rigoberto Oskarbi could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Gilberto Iban however easily saved by the left post. Rigoberto Oskarbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Iban having to interfere. In the 38th minute Virgilio Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Marco Reyes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SPORTIVO COGOYO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN MIGUEL the free kick. Marco Reyes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. SPORTIVO COGOYO's Gilberto Iban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save SPORTIVO COGOYO from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Oskarbi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Caetano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Iban having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Virgilio Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN MIGUEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Caetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Iban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58thth minute of the game Rigoberto Oskarbi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SPORTIVO COGOYO's Gilberto Iban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind SPORTIVO COGOYO's goalkeeper Gilberto Iban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rigoberto Oskarbi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gilberto Iban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN MIGUEL. Filomeno Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Marco Reyes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. A collision led to SPORTIVO COGOYO getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marco Reyes hit a great ball. After 67 minutes of play, SAN MIGUEL's Rigoberto Oskarbi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Iban was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Iban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Oskarbi went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rigoberto Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN MIGUEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Oskarbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Iban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 86 minutes, Jimeno Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN MIGUEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Edorta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Rigoberto Oskarbi sped through SPORTIVO COGOYO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilberto Iban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Caetano in the 94th minute of play forced SPORTIVO COGOYO's goalkeeper Gilberto Iban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SAN MIGUEL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
