Narciso Beturian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Barreto's Federico Damario got control of the ball when Delmar Illan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Barreto's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Illan came free, but Federico Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Beturian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Brun went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 17 minutes, Isidoro Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Popoy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Dabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Barreto's Rene Ostots nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Beturian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jonas Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Narciso Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Barreto fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Barreto's Rene Ostots looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Popoy AFC's Narciso Beturian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Lorencio in the 33rd minute of play. Abel Bixintxo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After a rather tough play, Popoy AFC's Cecilio Olivar got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 54 minutes of play, Barreto's Rene Ostots made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Beturian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Brun was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Popoy AFC's Nicolas Munio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Jonas Brun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Narciso Beturian, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Sesuldo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Barreto got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Sesuldo. Reynaldo Fidencio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Federico Damario. Barreto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Rene Ostots came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Barreto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Ostots couldn't finish the play. Federico Damario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Illan in the 77th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Dalmacio Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Delmar Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Damario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Ostots in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Narciso Beturian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 92 minutes into the match, Popoy AFC's Delmar Illan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Damario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barreto played a much better game than Popoy AFC and deserved their victory. The Popoy AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
