In the 7th minute of the match Claudio Borghi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Txatxu skillfully saved the ball. Casimiro Thomas's late challenge caught a Cubanitos de Ricota AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Thomas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nacate getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Casimiro Thomas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Villa in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Txatxu saved Nacate from getting behind. After 17 minutes, Leon Lalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacate and the Cubanitos de Ricota AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Melquiades Elizardo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Joaquin Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cubanitos de Ricota AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nacate's Oscar Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Elizardo in the 71st minute of play. Oscar Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
